Over the past 15 years, Ezkey has evolved through innovation-driven development, adaptation to the market situation, solution optimization and mitigation of the impact and challenges of the electronic components supply chain.
During the global financial crisis in 2008, Ezkey was established in Shenzhen and started the electronic components supply chain business. The first five-year plan was successfully achieved. Ezkey has set up logistics and quality inspection centers: in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong, as the global logistics center and in Nanshan, Shenzhen, known as the Silicon Valley of China.
Ezkey implemented a strict quality-control system in accordance with the highest standards in the industry and successfully passed ISO 9001 certification in 2012. With the penetration of the internet of things and the increasing demand for consumer electronics in 2013, we entered the radio-frequency (RF) antenna module business and obtained British antenna company Antenova distributorship to meet the demands of the consumer electronics and other industries that require integrated antenna and RF antenna module applications.
In 2015, we made a breakthrough and achieved smart wearable devices. Due to the increasing demand for Bluetooth application solutions, we expanded the R&D team and accelerated the R&D process to support our customers. Apart from BLE, our R&D also involved Wi-Fi, Zigbee and other RF solution developments. The development involved vehicles, smart homes and smart clothing, as well as the consumer products industry with the need for technology upgrades.
In 2016, Ezkey became the IDH technical service provider for Nordic, NXP, MTK and other original factories and obtained the IDH program technology partner qualification with WPG to provide customers with comprehensive IoT solutions. We mainly promoted Bluetooth Nordic and TI products and achieved the first brand of smart clothing and body-fat scale. Resulting from the continuous expansion of the R&D team, our fitness sports brand also emerged. As our business continued to grow, we expanded from our headquarters in Shenzhen to other cities in China. Our Suzhou branch and Jiaxing branch were set up, and our second five-year plan was successfully implemented.
As a semiconductor supplier in China, Ezkey has always wanted to connect with its global business partners and expand its global business. During the third five-year plan, implemented in 2019, our focus was on the Southeast Asia market and continuously with our overseas business layout, including the establishment of branches in Malaysia, Singapore and India.
In 2021, the global semiconductor industry faced an unprecedented shortage predicament, and the spot-demand market was extremely volatile. It was an outstanding performance for distributors with “spot supply capability.” Ezkey benefitted from its flexible global operations to provide customers with the ability to deploy stock and scarce parts on an emergency basis around the world. Ezkey was recognized as an “Outstanding Stock Distributor” by AspenCore.
In recent years, the development momentum of domestic semiconductors has been rapidly increasing. As an independent distributor, Ezkey is a bridge in connecting upstream original factories with downstream electronics manufacturers. We specialize in automotive electronics and other industries, developing new domestic alternative solutions and authorizing multiple domestic distribution lines to help customers reduce their costs and solve the negative impact of “out of stock” for imported components.
